0 Lauren Hill in a letter full of emotion

Lauren Hill
Lauren Hill

Lauren Hill is the poignant story of a young girl of 19 who has inspired an entire country while she was fighting against a terrible disease. Victim of a rare brain tumor, she left this world on Friday, leaving behind an incredible legacy. Touched by this sad news, LeBron James wanted to honor him through a letter full of emotion.

She became a heroine, a person who has left an indelible mark in spite of the little time spent on this Earth. Died yesterday in just 19 years, Lauren Hill hit the whole of America in its fight lost in advance against the disease. But regardless of the tumor, it was much stronger to play basketball since she had managed to play four academic meetings in the Mount St. Joseph team. To realize his dream of playing college basketball, she had even applied the latter in order to advance the university's match from 13 to November 2, which was accepted. His health was then degraded, but its impact will be on forever. In fact, she not only inspired thousands of people to the rest of their life, but it also allowed through his foundation # Layup4Lauren gather over a million dollars for research into brain tumors.
Having learned this sad news, LeBron James was immediately connected to his Twitter account to share his emotion and pay homage to him in a farewell letter:

    Dear Lauren Hill,
You are the true definition of courage, strength, leadership, etc etc! The time you spent on earth will never be forgotten.
I never had the chance to meet you in person but know that you have inspired me every time! For every life you touched, you had the greatest impact being simply YOURSELF !!
You are now much better there and please do not amuse you too much without all your family and friends.
Can you say hello to my grandmother please. Do not be frightened, she knows you because we have about you many times.
So before we meet again, take care of yourself and continues to be the LEADER we all love! #RIPLaurenHill
    Sincerely,
    LeBron James

The famous Stuart Scott, a former journalist at ESPN who also passed away due to cancer earlier this year, had said "we beat the disease with the way we lived." Lauren Hill, despite his tumor has never stopped living. And that is why she will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace Lauren!
